Half-asian, half-australian 19 year-old comic-book loving, super gaming, TV show and movie watching, guitarist (and singer...?) from Hong Kong that feels most like an American but I hate American society, so basically, I have no nationality (as I've never lived in Oz before, rarely visit, and then don't even speak Cantonese or Chinese). Oh, and I'm not Jewish... I just enjoy making jew jokes and marijuana.

Tobey Maguire will always be Spider Man

Tobey Maguire was Spider Man. He was the perfect amount of nerdiness and had the right amount of muscles. I just don’t see Andrew Garfield as Spider Man and the trailer wasn’t amazing to me. Idk if I’ll watch the movie or not

Whenever people think Tobey Maguire was the better fit for Peter Parker, I know for sure that they’ve read no more than a single Spider-Man comic maximum (and most likely none at all). Maguire is an awful pick for Parker, the guy didn’t look the role at all and he lacked the funny charm of Peter Parker, he was just ‘kind of funny in an awkward way’. Plus, considering how half of the reason that the third movie was so awful was because of Maguire’s terrible acting was so terrible in it (other half being the writing, oh and not to say that Maguire is a bad actor, he’s actually quite good).
